Which platforms can I schedule to?
Instagram (Reels and feed video), YouTube (Shorts and regular videos), TikTok, and LinkedIn (personal profiles or Company Pages you manage). You connect each one once through a secure hosted login; Vidpal never stores your platform password.
Do I have to make the video in Vidpal?
No. Upload any finished MP4, MOV or WebM up to 2 GB from your computer, your phone (scan a QR code) or Google Drive. You can also pick any video you already rendered in Studio, AI Editing, AI Clips or Auto Reels.
How does the AI write the captions?
It transcribes what is said in the video and writes copy for each platform from that — a YouTube title, description and tags; an Instagram caption and hashtags; a TikTok caption; and a LinkedIn post. If the video has no speech, you type a one-line description and the AI writes from that instead. Everything is editable before you schedule.
What does 'best time for this video' mean?
Vidpal looks at how widely posted videos of the same format perform on each platform — for example Shorts on YouTube or Reels on Instagram — by weekday and hour, converts that to your timezone, and skips slots you have already booked. It's a strong starting point you can refine any time, not a claim about your specific audience.
Is the Scheduler included in my plan?
Preparing, scheduling and publishing through the Scheduler is a Pro and Business feature. Preparing a post costs 1 credit, which covers the transcript, all four platforms' copy and the thumbnail; regenerating the thumbnail costs 1 credit more. Free and Starter users can still download every render and share it manually.
