What's this "promotional pricing"?
We're running a launch promotion with a limited number of slots at these introductory prices — Starter at $29/mo (down from $49) and Pro at $59/mo (down from $99). Once the slots fill, prices revert to standard. Lock in the promotional rate now and you keep it for the lifetime of your subscription.
What do I get on the Free plan?
The Free plan gives you 1 Reel and 1 Image carousel — lifetime, not per month. Free outputs include a small "Made with Vidpal.ai" watermark; paid plans remove it. It's a no-commitment way to try the full pipeline (topic ingest, AI curation, brand voice, render, publish) before subscribing.
Do you offer a free trial?
Our Free plan IS the trial — 1 Reel and 1 carousel lifetime, no credit card required. We don't offer time-limited paid trials because each video costs us real compute (rendering, AI, storage). Compared to paying freelancers thousands or spending hours editing yourself, Vidpal is by far the most economical way to ship daily short-form content at scale.
What if I run out of Reels or carousels for the month?
You have two options: upgrade to a bigger plan (best value if you'll consistently need more) or top up your monthly allowance directly in the app. Either way, your topics, brand voice, and pipeline stay intact — you don't lose any setup.
How does annual billing save me up to 41%?
Pay annually and you get a deep discount versus the monthly rate. Starter drops from $29/mo to $25/mo (billed $300/year). Pro drops from $59/mo to $35/mo (billed $420/year) — that's the 41% saving. You can switch between monthly and annual any time from your dashboard.
Why is Pro the best value?
Pro gives you 2.8× the Reels (70 vs Starter's 25) for roughly 2× the price, plus 2.5× the long-form videos (5 vs 2) and 2.8× the carousels (70 vs 25). Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing, and downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Do unused Reels or carousels roll over?
No. Monthly Reel, long-form, and carousel allowances reset at the start of each billing cycle and don't carry over to the next month, so use them while they're fresh. Annual plans are billed up-front but the allowance is delivered as a yearly pool, so you have flexibility within the 12-month window.
Which platforms does Vidpal publish to?
Instagram, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Facebook. Connect each account once via OAuth and the same approved Reel or carousel fans out to all four on your chosen schedule. You can disable cross-posting per platform if you only want some channels active.
Can I review posts before they publish?
Yes. Every Reel, long-form video, and carousel lands in your review queue by default — preview the render, edit the caption, approve or skip. If you'd rather go fully hands-free, toggle on Auto-Publish and the pipeline skips the queue and posts immediately after rendering.
What does "Instagram publishing (BYO)" mean?
BYO stands for "Bring Your Own" — you connect your own Instagram (and YouTube, TikTok, Facebook) account to Vidpal, and we publish the approved Reels and carousels directly to your accounts on your behalf. Tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and refreshed automatically.
Is the AI-generated content unique and SEO-friendly?
Yes. Vidpal combines GPT-4o curation with your brand voice config to generate scripts, hooks, and captions tailored to your niche — never templated or duplicated. Each script is grounded in real source articles with attribution links, so content stays original and search-engine friendly. We dedupe every scraped story by SHA-256 URL hash so you never render the same article twice.
Are my payments secure?
All payments are processed through Stripe — one of the most secure payment processors in the world. We never store your card details on our servers; everything is tokenized and handled by Stripe directly. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express).
Can I get a refund?
Your satisfaction is our top priority. If it's been less than 30 days since your payment, we'll happily refund the unused portion of your Reel and carousel allowance — no questions asked. Just email support@vidpal.ai and we'll take care of the rest.
